Hello! I'm John Charboneau
It is with great enthusiasm, dignity and pride that I announce my candidacy for Sheriff of King and Queen County for another term in this upcoming election. I have served as a law enforcement officer for 39 years in King and Queen County giving the best I have every step of the way. I began my career starting as a Dispatcher and progressed to Road Deputy, Investigator, Chief Deputy and Sheriff.

As Sheriff of King and Queen County I want to build upon the great foundation that has been established over the past 20 years. We have built an excellent sheriff’s office and I want to make it even better.

I was born and educated in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. I have been a resident of beautiful King and Queen County for over 39 years. I'm married with 12 children that attend King and Queen County Public School
